چکیده

Due to the growing concern for renewable and biodegradable thermal insulation materials motivated by pending energy crisis, global warming environmental impact of waste product after their useful life, many researchers have worked on physical properties various insulators without giving much consideration mechanical properties. Therefore, this paper proposes investigate developed Camel’s food (Piliostigma thonningii) insulator lagging application. foot thonningii L.) is a leguminous plant found abundantly as wild uncultivated resource in parts Nigeria. The leaves bark fibers were prepared form boardsof thicknesses 10, 20, 30 40, 50mm using natural rubber latex binder. ratio fiber binder composition was 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 1:4.The test results showed that boards from had good measured range follows: ultimate tensile strength (11.66 6.96M. Pa); compression (0.09 0.07 M.Pa), flexural modulus (2545.96 2184.07 M.Pa)and (53.09 29.96 M.Pa). According results, it can be concluded these excellent
